Nonnie's Chili

The perfect Chili for a chilly day!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans dark red kidney beans
  • 1/2 package chili seasoning

Instructions

  • Brown beef in a pot, drain, and return to pot.
  • Add tomato sauce, paste, and diced tomatoes.
  • Mix and add 1/2 package of chili seasoning mix.
  • Once everything is mixed and hot, add the beans. You can add the liquid from the beans, it will help thicken it, or drain them.

Notes

*Optional – add 1 tsp of sugar to cut down on heartburn.
For a bit more heat, substitute the diced tomatoes with a can of diced tomatoes and chilies.
