Nonnie's Chili
The perfect Chili for a chilly day!
- 2 lb Ground Beef
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cans dark red kidney beans
- 1/2 package chili seasoning
Brown beef in a pot, drain, and return to pot.
Add tomato sauce, paste, and diced tomatoes.
Mix and add 1/2 package of chili seasoning mix.
Once everything is mixed and hot, add the beans. You can add the liquid from the beans, it will help thicken it, or drain them.
*Optional – add 1 tsp of sugar to cut down on heartburn.
For a bit more heat, substitute the diced tomatoes with a can of diced tomatoes and chilies.
